Penthouse by Nyara sits on the top floor of a small Aldea Zamá building, ringed by Yucatán selva. Floor-to-ceiling glass on both sides, one looking inward to a private rooftop with swimming pool, the other opening to the treetops. Travertine floors, warm tropical hardwood, hand-knotted macrame on the walls.
The interior is one considered studio, a king bed under a ceiling fan, a compact kitchen with Nespresso and induction hob, and a travertine wet-room behind a single sheet of glass. Outside, the rooftop carries the rest: a small infinity pool, a long-table for six under woven jute pendants. The lower level of the apartment holds kitchen, dining, lounge, and two more bedrooms plus a plunge pool.
Built for six though the table will hold dinner for friends if the night calls for it. A quiet, slow, deeply Tulum corner, kept simple on purpose.
Aldea Zamá sits between Tulum Pueblo and the beach road. Playa Paraíso and the long white south-beach, twelve minutes by car. Hartwood, Arca, and the slow Tulum dinner scene, five. A small bakery, a yoga shala, and a coffee bar are all within a few quiet blocks.
